The one really great thing is that before this pistol was plated it was not buffed out so all the corners and edges are sharp and WW2 factory machine tool marks. The frame is Remington Rand manufacture and the slide is a WW2 Colt, typical WW2 mismatch. It has a black enamel like finish, while the slide is the traditional phosphate finish. I am offering for sale a World War 2 Model 1911A1 that somebody in the past has chrome plated. Frame is not marked, but looks to be wartime Remington production.
